Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school, Completion of university


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification, Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities


Experience: No experience


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English, Mandarin


Area of Specialization: Community or retail pharmacy, Hospital or clinical pharmacy


Specific Skills: Check prescriptions for proper dosage, Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products, Advise on the administration, uses and effects of the medication, drug incompatibilities and contra-indications, Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products, Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication, Participate in basic research for the development of new drugs, Co-ordinate clinical investigations of new drugs, Control the quality of drug products during production
